NBB Expanding for 2013/14 School Year & Needs Part Time Teachers

NBB is expanding into the two units next to us! After the expansion we will double our space and have a second, and larger, dance space. We are expanding to better serve the community and continue to offer quality dance instruction. The expansion means that we will be able to:

Our plan is to have a grand opening at our 2013/14 registration day on July 28th. The new school year is scheduled to start on August 5th.

What we are Looking For

NBB is looking for part-time teachers for the 2013/14 School Year.  Interested teachers must have experience teaching dance and developing performances. We are looking for someone that is creative and enthusiastic. The ideal candidate will use positive teaching strategies for all levels. Applicants must understand the use of a curriculum as well as be knowledgeable of child development. Dance disciplines at NBB include ballet (pre-ballet-advanced), ballet technique, ballet repertoire, pointe, jazz, modern, and lyrical. Pilates and strengthening classes are also offered. Classes are small to promote learning and individual attention. Intermediate students follow the school's curriculum as well as individual goals. We want teachers that put a personal touch into their classes and performances and are expected to attend/help with performances that involve their students.
